Poll question: Should I go back to work?
I was off for a month on a medical leave, yesterday was my first day back. I made it through the day, but came home feeling like dirt. The doctor said I might only be up to half days, but money is nonexistent. I came home for lunch feeling like I was about to throw up, and I'm not feeling any better, even after putting something in my stomach.

So....What do you think I should do?

3. Maybe you should go back to work, puke on the boss and then
he'll fire you and you can get unemployment until you feel better and then you can look for another job?

6. Well
You can't draw unemployment unless you're available for work. If i'm sick as a dog, that would make me unavailable, right?

5. Tough call
I know all about the money thing - I work a job I probably shouldn't healthwise but I don't have any real choice. I need the job in order to pay the bills and keep the health insurance I need to go to the doctor to remain patched together well enough to go to the job that tears my body apart, causing me to need more health care.

If you follow that...

I can't tell you what to do. If you have any real choice in the matter, it sounds like you should probably either work part-time or take more time off. After all, if you make yourself MORE sick, you may not be able to work at all.

8. I live that life as well
I was feeling better...then I went back there. There is a smell in the office that's making me want to hurl. I don't know what it is. I think it's the stench of rethuglicans  Seriously...I'd almost swear that something there is making me sick.
