Edited on Wed May-18-05 03:24 AM by mark414
my computer is in the corner of my room and i was smoking a bowl and it was pretty hazy in the room and i didn't notice that my roommate's cat was sitting at my feet the whole time. now he's acting weird as shit, running in and out of my room and standing frozen in one spot for a minute or so at a time.

now he is batting around a metal bottle cap on my bedroom floor and he never plays with stuff like that.

shit this kitty is blazed

whoops

1. LOL
can you make a pic of that cat????

I know a cat can get dizzy by running in circles for ages .... but a high cat ... that must be a sight

2. I smoked catnip once when I was in high school...
I figured if it got the cat high....all it did was make me hug the tiolet for an hour. And of course, the kitty was in the bathroom w/ me, smirking...

6. My buddy had a rabbit that liked vodka in its water............
anytime the rabbit saw us drinking in the kitchen it would get crazy until it got a wee taste. He got in trouble when his wife caught him doing it.

8. I don't wanna be a spoil sport or anything . . .

but some animals metabolize alcohol, chocolate, etc., differently than we humans, and since our non-human companions usually are smaller than us, it's easier for them to get a "lethal" dose.

Although my SO and I both are smokers, we declared our house a smoke-free zone a few years ago, in part because of our cat.

Guidelines about human stuff that can poison animals:
