Poll question: My dilemma- please help!
OK, I have a very important decision to make, and I can't do it on my own. Do I hit the Midnight showing of "Revenge of the Sith" at the theater directly across the street from me (which has a regular screen), or do I wait until tomorrow and catch it on a digital screen at the Cinemark that's 15 miles away from my house? Thanks! :freak:

It'll be too hot, and you'll be providing your own eventually.

15. righton, no real fan would ever ask this question
only a poser who wants to LOOK like a real fan. This is not a dilemma, it's an opportunity.

A dilemma is "my wife is giving birth to triplets today, should we induce labour so I can go to the midnight screening?"

9. Dude, HIT THE CINEMARK.
Jim and I are going to the digital screening on Saturday at noon. If you've not been to that Cinemark (Valley View, I assume?) you HAVE to. If they have a digital screening of *anything* I want to see, that's where I go, no questions. Cancel this poll, go directly to Cinemark.

10. Yep. That's where we went for Ep. II.
Not to mention, the digital screen version (which is now the DVD version) was a slightly different cut from the regular. Mrs. B and I saw it on the regular screen a few days later, and it was like watching a cartoon or a cut-scene from a video game.

11. Plus, in the film screenings,
some of the background CG gets pixelated in the transfer. Or at least in EP II it did. Yuk.

17. All I know is I won't be around tomorrow.
I am sequestering myself from all print, TV and online media. I don't want to learn more than I already know.

20. Next week a matinee, maybe-it'll prolly be lame as the other recent ones.
Tho I really hope not. I forked over my cash to see the other Lucas efforts, they SUCKED. Especially compared to the original trilogy. Special effects do not make a plotline or characters the audience cares about.

My fingers are crossed again this time, but I'm skeptical. Been burned before! Plus, looks like Yoda is being made into a warrior, even in the action figures at Wal-Mart he has a sword in hand in all of them. Out with the Zen wisdom, in with the fighting?

Benefit of the doubt? So far, yes. But I dunno...
