My first tattoo! XD

Originally I was going to go with a simple grey offset, but my dude told me I have such fair skin and color would look so much better, that he will add some color at no extra charge! So Friday night he is going to come in after work and add some purple and blue. I friggin love it! It means "Dream." :7

38. Yeah they are not painful at all.
And they are addictive. I have 2 but could easily get more. I won't. Two is my limit (they are very small). I have a high tolerance for pain, but this was not the slightest painful.

2. yume
It's an interesting cursive style- my kanji is more of the traditional "block" style.

Yours looks fab!!! :hi:

I'm jealous. I haven't gotten any new tattoos for about 5 years now.

Is that an arm or a thigh?

18. It's above my left ankle
I got it there so that I could show it off with cropped pants, skirts, and capris, but hide it with pants when it feels necessary!

I like that, simple but pretty! What does it mean?

'universal Goddess/mother' sort of Spirit.

23. Not as bad as I thought it would!
I've talked to a lot of people about tattoos, and half of them say the fatty places hurt more and half say that the boney places hurt more- so I guess it just depends on the person!

I'm down with that kind of Spirit! :hi:

34. My SO has a coworker
who is a freelance tattoo artist, and charges a lot less than any shops you could go to. Really great dude. Here's a picture of me in my livingroom getting the process started-

That's what I loved the most about the experience, is that I got to do it in the comfort of my own home!

35. Btw,
I've only been to Broad Ripple once (To stop in the Magic Bus)- and to Indy only a few times. We don't drive (have a car, no licenses). I've heard Broad Ripple is like, the only cool place in the area (Unless you are in Northern Indiana).

The rest of Indy is pretty much a lost cause. Sigh.

I've been here I think since October, but I don't post a whole lot, yet! I do it in spurts. :P

One of these days I'll get over my fear of driving, get a license, and attend an Indy DU meetup! Lol. All in due time.

LOL. Japanese writing consists of 3 types (that I know of). Hirigana, which is like their alphabet, Katakana, which they use for foreign words, and Kanji, which is Chinese. So, you aren't entirely incorrect!
