2. I don't want to have to correct you in public
But I have subjectively...no, I have scientifically determined that the best cheeseburger in the world comes from Pick's Hamburgers in Cloverdale, CA.

6. perhaps you're correct..
but I can back up Mav in that Hodad's makes one damn fine burger. The fact that it sits one block west of the Pacific Ocean in the most laid back and bohemian beach community in LoCal makes it all the better!

22. And perhaps I'm full of shit
I do love a Pick's hamburger, but I'm sure Maveric wouldn't have started a thread if he didn't think Hodad's made a great burger. It's all subjective, but at least we're not talking about chain restaurants, so we all win.

7. A "Basket"w/a Double burger, home-cut fries and a drink is about $7.50.
And its so much food you may not be able to finish it in one sitting!

I thought for sure he was going to be a victim of the sophmore jinx, but he's finally starting to come through. Seeing the guys pile on him last night after his game winning single was fun to watch!

10. I hate to correct all of y'all, but none of your burgers can stack up to
A Booche burger. What can be better than Beer, Billiards and Booche Burgers. Next time you're going through Columbia Missouri make it a point to stop and grab a burger at Booches on S. 9th St. It will make every other burger you've eaten seem like cardboard in comparison.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Booches>

17. Used to love Jackson Hole Burgers on E 64th st in NYC
They had one called the Copsegmore(I think that what it was called)
and you needed a fork lift to pick it up and it was delicious but the place has changes hands and the last time I was there it wasnt all that but it used to be the best. Also loved Bun N' Burger and their runny cheesburgers.

21. i almost forgot nessy burger!!
Have you ever been to the Nessy Burger? It's a truck stop right off of I-15 and Pala Road in Fallbrook. It's basically a trailer next to a dirt lot (I think it may be paved now). Always crowded and worth the stop if you're in the area.
