Yes! I get too see the Dolphins and Chargers game for FREE!
They moved the game to Sun Devil Stadium because they were going to use Qualcomm Stadium as an evacuation place because of deadly So-Cal fires. Arizona State and the Arizona Cardinals agreed to host the game and they are willing to not charge admission. So I get to see a free NFL game tomorrow.

5. Is Griese starting?
I did like him when he was with the Broncos and I was hoping he would be a starter in Miami.

At the game tonight at the entrance they will be taking donations for fire relief but it is totally optional but of course I will be donating some money to them.

9. Man, you'd have to PAY me to watch that dreck!
What do they have, five wins between them? Well, after 3½ hours, the two teams will have six wins between them.

Chiefs, 8-0. Good.

DU's favorite Division III team, a 30-24 winner over Menlo in Atherton CA. The Wildcats built a 27-10 lead through three quarters and withstood two fourth quarter TDs by the Oaks to run their record to 6-0, and 21st consecutive regular season victory.

Next week: Monica Lewinsky's alma mater, Lewis & Clark comes to town for their annual spanking.

Edited on Mon Oct-27-03 10:46 AM by VermontDem2004
Griese is starting and I think he is better then Fiedler in my opinion and Ricky Williams is awesome, I seen him on TV when he had that record breaking run against Texas A&M. I could care less about the Chiefs they will finish 8-8, lol probaly not. The Wildcats will lose to Lewis & Clark without a doubt.

11. Yeah, but at least 8-8 is a .500 season
And I don't doubt the Chefs' ability to squander the last eight games on their schedule, so I'm enjoying it while I can.

Hah! Lose to Lewis & Clark? Hah, I say again. And again Hah!

12. I have Louis & Clark 10+ favorites
Should I place that bet? Ha! Linfield doesn't even have a single 1st place vote, I say again Ha! Since you know Division III football, are there any Division III college football teams in Arizona that I don't know about.

13. Just call me bookie!
I'll take as much action on that as you can afford! If Linfield doesn't score 70, it will be because the first string -- offense and defense -- sat out the second half.

I don't know about Division III in Arizona. Most Division III schools are located in the Midwest, with a scattering of them on the West Coast.

17. Okay
Get in their first, make a lot of insufferable posts about them, then declare them DU's favorite _______________ (fill in the blank) team. Works for me.

So, how many bones should I put you down for on Lewis & (Hah) Clark?

18. They will lose to Willamette and Willamette
will win the Northwest Conference! Lmao they beat Puget Sound 62-0, rotflmao, they didn't even give them a free touchdown? Anyways Willamette will stomp some Wildcat ass. Ok they are good by looking at their schedule for the last 3 years, I wish I could see a game sometime. Glendale is one hell of a JUCO team, I enjoy going to their games. They recently put a stomping on Arizona Westernt 31-7. The only team they lost to was Dixie State who is ranked #3 in the nation.

19. Willamette usually puts up a good fight
For about the first half. They have one guy, though, I call him "Superfan" who runs the sideline, cheerleads, hollers, trash talks and generally juices the crowd up for his beloved Bearcats.

Unfortunately for him, he's usually trying to rally his team from a 35-10 deficit late in the third with Linfield knocking at the door. But he's a nice guy. And you know where nice guys finish.

But Willamette actually has a winning record this season; it might be worth my while to catch the game, whether it's at McMinnville or Salem. I can probably talk Mrs. gratuitous into going if the weather isn't too bad. If it's in Salem, I'll promise her a stop at the Woodburn outlet mall (motto: cleanest public restrooms in the known universe).

16. I think the people in San Diego have much worse things to worry about
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/fires/20031026-130-sdfires.html

Plus they are giving refunds to those who return the game ticket to the Chargers organization.
