2. U M
Did you hear why the the University Of Michigan went to artificial turf on their foot ball field? To stop their cheer leaders from grazing. Go State. :bounce:

4. They discovered "Anthrax" on the MSU field.
John L. Smith called the police to report a powdery subsatance.

It wasn't anthrax; it was the goal line!

5. I heard that one differently
Authorities were called in to investigate a white powdery substance on the (insert team here) field. (same team name) players were terrified to get near it and would resort to any means necessary to avoid it.

Upon investigation, it was determined to be the goal line.

9. You know a State grad thought up that one
Michigan switched to turf a long time ago. :D It's MSU & OSU with all those agricultural programs and all those (ahem) cows.

3. I knew I astounded you...
...but now I know why.

My reason - It's my alma mater, and I had MANY fond memories there. Many fuzzy memories too, but that's another story.
