Very cool google program...
Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 07:24 PM by Tripper11
has anyone seen this yet? Google Earth I just downloaded, and all I can say is WOW!
The satellite images are a couple years old, I can tell by our house and what is around us now compared to what google has..but man, what a sweet program!
Not only can you get a sat image of any addres, you can map directions from address to address, add hotels, sites etc for your travels. Much more that I have yet to discover.

1. It is tres cool
My husband showed me the other day, and he downloaded it onto his laptop. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on mine; I think my graphics card doesn't support it.

4. Lot of features
you can ask for the photo to display borders overlaid on the photos, terrain names, road, buildings, zoom with the scroll on the mouse, lots more.

Yes it is the same image set as google maps, based on Digital Earth imagery. It is possible to ask for a photo overlay displaying in different colours, the photo dates.
