2. Your heart rate is a little high but the other numbers are great.
An ideal heart rate is between 60-80.
What are your O2 SATS?

3. Your BP is very good, but your heart rate seems just a bit fast...
Are you hot right now, or did you just have some coffee or some other stimulant? A normal resting heart rate is usually lower, like in the 70's or maybe 80's...

You know I'm a nurse, right?

10. My boyfriend thinks I'm hot, but...
no stimulants.

Actually I am on strattera, but before taking even that my doc had noted a pulse rate of 96. Strattera's effect has been negligable in that area.

With such a high pulse I'm somewhat amazed my BP isn't any higher.

4. That's about where I'm at except
my resting pulse is a little lower. Are those numbers an improvement for you?

12. Well, the BP is down from 150/80 from 2 months ago...
But the pulse is exactly the same.

6. wassup with your bpm?
That seems a little high for a resting rate.

My meds give me elevated blood pressure, too: currently it's around 130/100. I should probably get on meds, but I've been too busy/distracted to do so.

7. Allow me to strongly suggest that you get into your doctor PRONTO...
I don't know how old you are or anything about you...but that is too high, and needs to come down NOW...or ASAP! Please...If you'd like other details, feel free to PM me, OK?

8. I'm 35, 36 in a couple weeks
wow, I didn't realize it was that dangerous. My psychiatrist said it was a little elevated, and I should have it checked again. I really should get in there again.

I'll make an appointment tomorrow morning first thing. Thanks for the heads-up! :hi: :pals:

11. Definitely my resting rate. But 130/100 is high...
Well, 130 isn't bad but 100 for the dystolic reading is VERY high. (Under 129/under 80 is normal BP, but that's all I know...)

I'd get cheked out if I were you! (of course, I'm not one to talk, it sounds like 100bpm pulse ain't so great... )
