Robbie Coltrane isn't a jazz musician, though. Youre thinking of JOHN Coltrane.

Also: Duke Ellington, Eric Dolphy, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, many others...

for vocalists: Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Jimmy Scott, many many others...
