I want to set up a "Dimes for Democracy" collection
Is getting this country back on the path to lawfulness worth a dime to you?

If it is, you will be interested in the "Dimes for Democracy" project.

Here's how it will work. I believe we can agree that the only salvation for this country is to send Smirky McCokespoon and all of his confederates to the maximum-security wing at Terre Haute. To do this, we first have to impeach the lot of them. Unfortunately, the only crime that seems to warrant impeachment is getting a blowjob.

And that's where Dimes for Democracy comes in. Over seventy thousand people are registered members of DU. If one-sixth of them each send in a dime, we'll have $122.77. This should be enough to get Mr. Bush a quality blowjob.

How DfD would work: Anyone wishing to take part in this important project would tape a dime to a sheet of paper, write your name, hometown and a comment on the paper, and send it to a post office box I would set up. I would remove the dimes from the sheet of paper and drop them into a jar. I would then compile a list of names and send it to Senator Kerry with an explanation of the DfD project. I think he'd appreciate the lowbrow humor contained therein.

Understand that we can't actually buy Bush a blowjob, so the dimes themselves would be divided equally among Veterans Against the Iraq War, Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

The first two groups you know. The third is an organization that funds college scholarships for children of Special Operations troops from all four branches of service who are killed in the line of duty.
