Today's ZINGS!
From today's issue of the Tallahassee Democrat:

• To you bleeding-heart liberals: George Bush is not destroying the country. Alan Greenspan is!

• Somebody's got "Raymond" Emmy envy. No soup for you!

• Why not kill two birds with one stone? Dump all of Katrina's debris into New Orleans and raise it above sea level.

• Isn't it wonderful that we have government controlled by conservatives? The federal budget has only gone up by 40 percent since the conservatives have been in power.

• To the guy who thinks liberals have a problem dealing with the truth: As a conservative (or at least I used to think I was), I don't think our current administration would know the truth if it bit them on their collective Tallahassee coffee shop.

• As a minority, I've come to appreciate the difference between Democrats and a Republicans. Democrats tell you to trust the party. Republicans tell you to trust the person in the mirror.

• Bush probably can't even remember the times he's spent in New Orleans, but he's going to show his compassion by breaking the bank to rebuild it and hand the bill to us - and our children.
