7. A roller coaster on top of a really tall building
I am somewhat afraid of heights but really afraid of roller coaster for some reason. I think they have one of those in Vegas where the coaster is at the top of a space needle type building (or did I just imagin that ??) but that would be my worst nightmare. Of course it would only be my worst nightmare if I actually rode the thing, which I would not do.
I have nightmares where my son is in danger someplace high and I can't save him. I'm very afraid of heights and I freeze up and just can't move when the panic hits me. I get low to the ground and move toward safety, or I stay still and in that panic I can't be sure I'd be able to save him.
15. I used to have two recurring nightmares when I was growing up.
One was that a giant came and picked my father up in his hand and carried him away. I think that one was "inspired" by a high school kid who lived across the street from us. I was only in 3rd grade at the time, and this kid was tall as it was, so I think somehow he got translated into the "giant" of my dreams. (But he was not mean in real life -- he was a nice kid.)
The other one is just to ugly to share. Thank God I haven't had THAT one in years! :scared:
My worst nightmare would be having to play Internet games and read Democratic Underground for hours on end while sitting in a cushy chair eating sushi.
(You can put that in my file under the section labeled "Awful ways to torture DistantEarlyWarning if she ever has to go to Club Gitmo")
"No! NO! Anything but the sushi! Not the sushi, please, I beg you! I'll play all the games of solitaire you want if you just don't make me eat eel and avocado!"
