Anyone have a Tempur Pedic bed?
My question is, do they get softer over time? I tried out a "Classic" queen size yesterday, and it seemed just a little too firm for me.

1. I have the tempurpedic foam mattress topper
and i LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it! I can't afford the whole mattress but if the topper is this good then the whole mattress must be gold! The topper didn't really get softer over time but it DOES get stiffer if the room is cold...if the store where you tried it out was cold, then that might explain why it was too firm..

4. I have a secondhand one in a vacation property
and I've noticed that it has compressed with time on the side where the single first owner slept. I could see in another few years that the slope might annoy me.

But it's a GREAT sleep right now.

2. I have a memory foam mattress topper that's four inches thick

and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it. :) I couldn't afford the whole bed, so I got this mattress topper from MyRest.com. I want to get a better pillow to match and I'll be set.

On edit: not all memory foam is created equal. I got the 5.3 lb stuff and it's warrantied for 15 years. It's so comfortable! I love it.

3. Another question
I read a post on a consumer board a couple years ago by a guy who said he woke up sweaty with his TempurPedic because, since you sink into it, air doesn't circulate between you and the mattress.

I'm interested in getting one, but that comment threw me. Yea or nay?
