I also have a cybermaxx head mounted display but the resolution sucks so I never hacked it to work with my PC.

12. Wow! Me too!
I rigged it to work with an Amiga setup. You could control the mouse on-screen with the Power Glove. A little sticky, but it worked.

That had to be about 12-15 years ago. Ah, memories...

I think I still have that glove packed away somewhere.

28. Yeah, Yahoo's hosting adds a tag after the html...
That fucks up the automatic validation. Copy and paste the source, minus the tag that's added at the end (ie. everything coded by me), and it validates. I need to figure out how to turn that tag off.

73. Throughout college, I read a new author every week.
I'd select an author, research a few works by them, check 'em out and dive in. I often got chided by roommates for "reading all the time" (like that's a bad thing). I reads lots of different things and ideas; it was so cool.

and various animes. I know practically everything about LOTR, my first movie ever was SW: A New Hope. I write and read fanfiction. I bought my gamecube myself. I have a shirt saying 'Everyone Loves a Nerd'. My second favorite brand of music is nerd music (J-pop).

Yeah. And, I named my cats Elrond and Elros and Viggo.

And, I want to name my daughter Eowyn.

And, I forgot to mention, I went to the first showing of ROTS and had my hair done up like princess Leia. And then I went to the first showing of LOTR: The Two Towers and wore a wizards hat.

That all might just be freaky stuff... but...

I know more about my computer than probably the programmer, I outsmarted my computer friend on the internet through rabid netspeak, and for Christmas I want photoshop.

81. I just finished building my wife a new computer
and not stopping until I figured out the problem with Win XP and its recognzing my SATA drive. I had all the necessary drivers but the damn thing would only look for a floppy disk. I only had the files burned on a cdrom. Anyhow, I had to cannibalize a floppy drive from an old computer just to install the SATA drive so that XP would recognize it. Stupid XP.

I Categorize everything, DVDS, CDs, Albums, audio Cassettes, Video Cassettes, books, Video games & food in the cabinet, baseball cards when I was younger.

I made a map of the Grocery store, using retangles as Isles writing what stuff I need from each isle inside the retangle to get in and out as quick as possible, it looks like a play out of a football playbook

I purchased a ticket online for Star Wars Attack Of The Clones, to make sure I saw It on the first day in the theater.

I've drove 2-3 Hours to see pro wrestling events in other states.

I've watch pro wrestling now for 21 years.

I've Played in fantasy sports leagues.

I use to type my homework for bible study out on a computer.

For all you Amateur ham radio enthusiast, I've actually went to major conventions before with my uncle, I must of been the only person under 40 there.

I listen to Coast To Coast AM with George Noory, often, I've been listening off and on for at least 12 years back to the Art Bell Days.

85. the dummy at the computer
I used to live on a busy street and my computer was by the window facing the street. I had total strangers come knocking on my door to ask if the person sitting at the computer all the time was a inflatable dummy intended to scare off burglars.

I had to answer, no that person is I. They would bluster, "But that person is there morning, noon and night!"

Yep, I'd say.

Pretty soon I developed a physical disease from sitting at the computer for so many hours. It took me a long time to straighten that out. I had to figure it out on my own because the doctors had never seen anything like it.

I turned my living room into a computer room. I had five monitors facing the main window, which was a courtyard. If I left the blinds open, I would often come home to find an audience standing in front of my picture window, trying to figure out what the story was with all the computers. They couldn't figure out if it was a house or some kind of art display.
