Can a person have vertigo during the day?
I swear mine is getting worse. Maybe time for a MD visit.

1. How is you BP?
Have you checked it lately? Vertigo is a somewhat common sympton of high BP..

3. you should go to the doctor
maybe you have an inner ear problem.

Why would one have vertigo only at night?

5. I did
A few months ago, and it was an inner-ear thing. Doctor prescribed a med called Meclizine (generic for Antivert) and it was gone in about three days.

6. I do!
Mine's hereditary -- my dad and grandmother have it. I get triggered from travel, elevators/escalators, imax theaters, flashing lights...pretty much anything that makes my eyes disagree with my sense of balance.

7. I had it when I was 40
and the doctor told me it was a piece of calcium that was in my inner ear and I had it until it dissolved.

I took antivert, which made me see double and sleep. Not a good time, but only took a few days.

8. I had the same thing. Felt like I would fall out of bed.
Not. Fun.

I've had it for about a month. It is getting better..slowly. It was worst when I would lay down or lift my head up to look at something...like the sky or something.

I think it's some kind of a virus or something.
I suppose I should have gone in...but I HATE going to the doctor.
