2. Fake
It's probably a fake, or a file photo, or something. Either that or they have a designated takeoff ca,mraman, and this is the first picture of AF1 that looks picture-perfect. *Sigh*...

Didn't they fly under cover of darkness, and only stay two hours?

How are they flying into the orange sky?

on edit : recalculating cause I messed up. They're nine hours ahead, not behind. Right?

9 hour difference between Bahgdad and Chicago(CST). It's 12:45pm here and CNN said AF1 was wheels up an hour an a half ago (11:15am CST). That means he flew out at 8:15 pm Bahgdad time. If he flew in under darkness, it would still be dark when he left.

7. Actually, it was 8:15 PM
I think you did the calculation backwards. If the plane left Baghdad at 11:15 AM CST, given the 9 hour time difference (+9 hours), that would make it 8:15 PM their time. That's about 3 hours after the sun sets this time of year. Either way, what we've all got to do is make sure the sun sets on the Bush Presidency as soon as possible!! :)

8. Caught that already, check my edit.

But it makes my point even more valid. He landed in darkness, at the beginning of the night. It's still dark there now. This picture is obviously not of AF1 leaving Iraq.

And WELCOME TO DU! My Thanksgiving toast to you.

:toast:
