Can I get a little pity party?
I'm having a really shitty day. I woke up with my neck feeling like there was ground up glass between the vertebrae, my pain pills never really kicked in, I've got no appetite but I have to keep feeding myself because I gave blood yesterday, LeftyKid's being a defiant little shithead, my house is a mess...

:cry: I'm gonna go grab a drink out of the fridge (don't worry, my dr won't give me any good pain pills, so I'm not in any danger from pills+ one drink) and try to relax. Can I get a little hug when I get back?

Thanks,
LM

4. My dear LeftyMom!
Oh I am so very sorry, my dear......PLUS you gave blood yesterday? WOW...

You really need to take care of yourself now, OK? Too bad you're a vegetarian.....

Your body would be happy to have a steak or something full of iron like that.....

Here's a gentle hug for you: :hug: :pals: :yourock:

5. of course.

Forget about the house. Take care of the rest, starting with yourself.

6. Sure, whatever you need. A hug, some massage (therapeutic only;
Mr Biceps, it's purely therapeutic, and Mrs R will vouch for that), another drink, whatever you need. Nobody should have a bad day.

I poured my drink and picked up about half the living room. LK is laying on the couch watching TV. I want him in bed but I don't really feel up to making a fight out of it, so I'll see if he'll fall asleep there. If I wander off for a minute, it's not because I don't love and appreciate you all, it's because I couldn't completely relax until the rest of the toys and laundry were picked up off the living room carpet.
