I got a call today from my Aunt who works for the University of MT and the head of their English department wanted to get ahold of me because she is editing a book about the best of American Indian essays and so on. Well, anyway, I wrote an essay for a magazine a few years ago, and she wants to use it for her anthology. So, I just thought I'd let you all know that. I'll have more info on it in the next few weeks. :)

8. it's a tribute to Blackfeet Indian author James Welch

I wrote it after his death a few years ago. Red Ink Magazine picked it up and it sort of made the rounds. They use it in graduate and doctoral seminars for American Indian Studies at the U of AZ.

10. actually I am adapting a novel by the author I wrote the essay
