I came up with a plan yesterday to help the environment:
We tax all non-essential massive paper use: every store flyer or advert flyer that goes into a newspaper or gets mailed gets a tax, and every piece of junk mail gets a tax, and every catalogue mailed out gets a tax, and all of those taxes get used for something environmental.

That should keep stores like Kohl's and Best Buy from putting two and three different flyers in the newspapers every week, and get them to only print maybe one a month, using less paper.

3. Why should there be a problem? We just tax the paper.
We'll call it a pre-recycling fee. :-)

If nothing else, we should get rid of the bulk-rate rate at the post office for businesses.

4. Sounds good to me!
Love the idea about losing the bulk postage rate, too.
