Dammit! All young 'uns on this forum, git up here and FIGHT FOR YER FUTURE
Now!

If some of the adults on this forum have such a bad attitude about the whole chain of events going on, and they refuse to keep fighting, and they just give up, I know what we can do...

We can fight ourselves. Something we've done for a long time, but we need to do more of it now! Nothing pisses off adults more than when we say they're too old to do something.

This is our future, our America. We need to fight. Now.

If people (Now, I'm not saying all... but they know who they are) are so hellbent on giving up, then we can take their places.

Do you want to live in a world where our rights are stripped away, where we can no longer live freely? I don't.

So come on! Go for it! Don't be afraid! Never be afraid! Now is not the time to accept defeat! Now is not the time to be sad! Now is the time to fight!

We can do it!

And, I'm keeping this kicked all day. I'm sick and I'm friggin' bored...

C'mon, you're being harassed by an eighth grader to do something....

1. You're an 8th grader?
You're right we have to do something for the future. Next week I'm going to join a nuclear power advocacy group. If we're to have a future at all we must harness the power of the atom!

2. Yes, I am an 8'th grader...
And, it's just me, and don't take this hard, but I don't want you anywhere near a nuclear bomb.

;) How's it goin'?

3. I gotta go pay the rent and then write about Baroque German poetry.
Who said anything about bombs? I want to see reactors bloom across this fair land.

4. Christ almighty!
For God's sake, I bathe, shave, get drunk, and bitch at the TV already, what more do you want?!

But, no, really, I may soon be working for a County Board President candidate here in Chicago.

You should volunteer for your local Dem party this fall. In my experience, they were happy for all the help they could get, even under voting age, and it's a blast, even when you lose (or have it jacked from underneath you by Diebold)... :)

5. Well, name something I haven't done...
I'm all ears.

It's the youth of D.U. (and of the U.S. in general) which keeps me
going.
