Poll question: Is your cat right-handed or left-handed?
5 of my 7 my cats favor one paw over the other, when scratching the litter, giving handshakes, fishing their bowls for food, etc. 3 of mine are left-handed, 2 right-handed, and the other two appear to be ambi-paw-ous.

Your cat(s)?

1. My older cat is left-pawed.
The younger one uses his right one more often.

4. Eh, I've been registered for some time.
Just don't post that much.

Huh . . . cats are dominantly left-handed? That's interesting.

3. Somebody has actually studied this,
and concluded that cats tend to be left-pawed. http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a4_085.html

6. That's really interesting
The article makes mention of the author being left-handed...I'm left-handed, and the s.o. is right-handed. 5 of the cats are young enough to have observed us while acquiring paw preference. You don't think...? :)
