OHMYGODIJUSTDIED ANDWENTTOHEAVEN!!!!!
I just found the Live Aid Led Zeppelin performance.

When Bob Geldoff put out the LiveAid DVD from the 1985 concert, Page & Plant refused to allow any of their footage on the DVD because frankly, from what I remember seeing when I watched the concert on TV all those years ago was that the performance really wasn't that great. Didn't help that they had Phil Collins drumming and he had just flown in from London like a hour before the performance when he was given the playlist.

I am so excited

:woohoo:

12. Not in the Yardbirds, but he was in Genesis
Unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure he was never in the Yardbirds.

11. That's why I acquired a 6 DVD set of the unedited BBC broadcast!
It rules. I've also got a 17 disc audio set of every available bit of music broadcast on the radio that day, including 3 seconds of the singer/songwriter that opened in Philadelphia. :) I'm now working on acquiring full TV broadcasts of the Live 8 shows. I'm currently downloading disc 3 of the London show, and I've got 1 disc of the Barrie show.

13. My god I want copies of those things
I bought the Live8 DVD so I could get the Floyd, Audioslave, Green Day and Robbie Williams performances and although all of the Floyd was on there, only 1 Green Day, 2 Williams and 1 Audioslave made in on the main Live8 DVD.

So I bought the Berlin Live8 DVD in hopes of getting the full GD and AS performances and ended up with 2 other of the Green Day songs (No "We are the Champions") and the same exact Audioslave performance

BTW, any chance you can make DVD copies of that BBC stuff for me?
