Why oh why do my questions go unanswered?

Boss says: Hey Jane, here's something totally unrelated to everything, as well as infinitely less important than the other stuff. This is what I need immediately for no reason whatsoever.

Jane says: Well, oooookay then. Sure.

~~~~~~~~~woooo~~~~~time marches on~~~~~~~wooooo~~~~~~~weeks elapse~~~~~woooo~~~~~questions still hanging~~~~~~~~~woooooo~~~~~~~~Jane continues to ask about things daily, gets no response~~~~~~


Boss says (frantically): JANE! I need that information about this, this and this!
IMMEDIATELY!! Didn't I ask you about that weeks ago? You've gotta let me know about it!!!

Jane: Bashes head on desk until brain goes numb.

and if he doesn't get whatever important thing that needs attention taken care of it won't be because I didn't do my job.

But still. It's crazy-making sometimes.

4. Haha. That's it. And he *does* try to pull that Saturday crap too.

Or at least he did.
"Hey, I know you're busy on the weekends with your second job and trying to run errands and relax a little bit, but I'll give you $30 to come in for an hour or two on Saturday to do something that really I should be doing but I'm too busy doing whatever the fuck it is I do with my time instead."

Now, at first glance it seems like a no brainer--$30 for nothing? Alright! But I found out quickly that it's a fools errand and there's not enough money in the world to bribe me with that would get me in this place on one of my days off. Plus, he's rarely in the office as it is so if he'd just suck it up and show up himself in these situations he'd save money which is, (I think), somewhat important.
