Ever heard the expression "fuck and alas"?
I came across it in the book "Feast of Love" by Charles Baxter. I'd never heard it before. Is it common somewhere else or what?

ya learn somethin' everyday, hopefully. Hell, I just learned yesterday about the term "jumping the shark". I'd never heard THAT one before....
