WWYD: Person you must correspond with keeps sending viruses

My oldest daughter's troop leader continues to send me emails with files attached (troop rosters, newsletter, etc.). Those attachments contain a virus. My anti-virus software allows the email to come through, but deletes the attachment. (I could change this, but I'd be infecting my computer if I opened the files.)

I've repeatedly forwarded the notice from my anti-virus software to the troop leader, pointed her to places to download free anti-virus software/cleaners, and so-forth. Still, she continues to send these emails out to the whole troop with viruses.

Should I respond and include the entire list in my response this time (I don't know if anyone else knows these files have a virus)?

1. Block her address somehow so you can no longer recieve

emails from her; if she won't keep her machine clean then it's the only thing you can do.

2. And give her a bunch of self-addressed stamped envelopes

so you can keep your kiddies up to date on troop business.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why someone who knows they have a computer virus wouldn't do something to fix it. *sigh*

to buy anti-virus software.

Yes, respond to "all" with your explanation why you won't accept any more email from her.

6. This troop leader needs to be impeached!

Sending attachments with viruses, my word! This reflects badly on us all & as a former Girl Scouter, I am outraged! You have to ask yourself, What Would Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low do?
