Thankfully, I can avoid the trouble of the Superbowl - but then I tend even to miss the F.A. Cup Final (that's English football's biggest tournament). That said, this afternoon the Six Nations starts - Ireland-Italy is at half past one, and England-Wales at half past three. Swing lo sweet chariot say I.

We're on Reger organ works here, at the moment a choral fantasy on Wie Schoen Leucht uns der Morgenstern.

Today is a quick dash to the shops so I'm home in time for the England game.

Rugby is a bit like American football, except the players aren't so wimpish as to need half a ton of body armour, and play lasts for longer then 5 seconds each time. ;)

To be honest, they don't stand a chance of getting anywhere. It always used to be the 5 Nations (the British Isles plus France) all of whom have a good history of playing rugby, but then a few years ago Italy was added - I don't know if they've won a single game since then. They are improving dramatically though.
