Just a random observation while shoe shopping.
Yesterday I was at the store looking at shoes. In the aisle, there was a mother standing with her young daughter- maybe twelve or thirteen years old. The girl was rather chubby and curly-haired and the poor thing was about a foot shorter than me, but looking at the same size shoes! She glanced at me and I smiled at her. She looked straight into my eyes and she positively lit up and smiled such a tremendous, beautiful, affecting grin, that I was a bit surprised. It delighted me, in fact. Not often does one offer a friendly expression and get in return such a completely profound response. Some people have so much life in a smile. I just wanted to hug that kid- she absolutely radiated sweetness.

1. But did you get new shoes? Did she?
Just teasing you. That is a sweet story.

4. I know what you mean, I am too
You wouldn't know that by looking at my closet, however. :D

I also know what you mean about that kind of smile...I'm a huge sucker for little kids in shopping carts. I don't doubt sometimes the parents want to get away from the scary lady. :D But when you see a little kid and the parent is all preoccupied, then you start making silly faces and their whole wee head just starts beaming...I can't help it! But yeah, the following around and talking googly talk might be a bit much...

;)

5. Lol! My littlest guy is a people magnet.
He blows everyone kisses and if they get close enough, he tries to get them to pick him up. He just wants to get out of the cart.
