It's vinyl and was professionally pasted, so the thin backing doesn't want to come off.

I need an EASY way to get it down.

THANK YOU!

1. Have you tried a flame thrower?
You'll probably destroy a lot more than just the wallpaper, but the wallpaper will come off really fast.

2. I have had good luck removing paper with
one of those Paper Tiger things that scores the paper, but not the drywall, and then using a commercial liquid product to loosen the glue.

And, I had very, very thin paper in the kitchen.

3. Paint over it after a coat or two of special primer
Or steam and peel steam and peel bit by tiny bit. :hi:

4. If I do that, then hang textured paper over it, will it all fall off?
and if so, when? lol

Seriously-- can I paper over paper? That's waht I want to do , anyway!

5. I think you will need to make sure the old paper is firmly attached
to the wall. I've seen many layers of paper before in old houses so I'm sure it can be done.

6. Whatever you do, DON'T hang textured paper.
I did to cover up some drywall damage and removing it cost me a small fortune.

Which is why I prefer paint.
