It's sad how popular and loved tv commercials are

They've got a show dedicated to the top 40 Superbowl commercials on. The news is all over sneak-peeks of commercials.

Yesterday I was out having lunch with my boss, and the dudes in the next booth over were gloating about how 70% of this year's SB commercials will be in HighDef.

What a lame idea for a show. I don't watch much TV, but everytime I do it seems like on big ad ("product placements").

2. Hey, I'm in the advertising business, and I agree with you.

But it makes me even sadder to see how worked up people get over things like "American Idol" or "Survivor." That crap gets talked and writen about so much that I've never even SEEN either of them, and I know what they are.
