on the site of a particular WDC law firm, under a letter that falls somewhere within the musical scale.

I am afraid to get more specific than that. I don't want to lose my job. I work with the guy. I wouldn't call him a typical Freeper -- he's far better educated and sophisticated than the thug you've posted. But he's still a thug, a smiling, damned villain. I used to think "he's just another human being," and have ranted mildly for his humanity him when seeing his name trashed here. But when I went into his office one day to look out the window at a crash that we'd all just heard on the corner below, I saw a Florida voting booth set up in the corner. It was all I could do not to kick it down.
