3. WE'LL SING IN THE SUNSHINE

We'll sing in the sunshine,
We'll laugh every day,
We'll sing in the sunshine,
And I'll be on my way.

I know I'll never l ove you,
The cost of love's too dear.
But though I'll never love you,
I'll stay with you one year.

And we can sing in the sunshine,
We'll laugh everyday,
We'll sing in the sunshine,
And I'll be on my way.

My daddy he once told me,
"Hey, don't you love you any man.
Just take what they may give you,
And give but what you can."

We'll sing in the sunshine,
We'll laugh everyday,
We'll sing in the sunshine,
And I'll be on my way.

I'll sing to you each morning,
I'll kiss you every night.
But darlin' don't cling to me,
I'll soon be out of sight.

But we can sing in the sunshine,
We'll laugh everyday,
We'll sing in the sunshine,
And I'll be on my way.

And when our year has ended,
And I have gone away,
You'll often think about me,
And this is what you'll say:

We sang in the sunshine,
We laughed everyday,
We sang in the sunshine,
And then went on our way.

4. Did I inspire you, my dear donheld?
I love those lyrics, though I don't remember who wrote them, or where they first appeared......

Were they from a musical?

Thanks for posting them!

I should have some nice pics later on today.....

6. It is gorgeous...
except for that nasty wildfire-smoke cloud blowing in from Orange County. Blech.

It blocked the sun in the Valley for about an hour, and now I can see it creeping towards downtown. Funky orangish-brown cloud of crap. Boo.

9. We are warmer than normal here in AZ
High temps around 80 all week and no rain in sight... 111 days and counting without rain.
My lemon trees are blooming about 4 wks early. I love the weather right now but I'll gladly trade it for some rain.

13. Last week it was hovering in the 60s here in North Georgia.
Right now it is 36 degrees and raining. I don't mind the cold, but I could do without the rain. I am just worried that if the temperature goes down during the night that the rain could turn into ice.
