For those needing a lighter moment this sunday morn.

ZEN WISDOM

1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead.
Do not walk ahead of me for I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me either.
Just pretty much leave me the hell alone.

2. It's always darkest before dawn.
So if you're going to steal your neighbor's
newspaper, that's the time to do it.

3. Sex is like air --
it's not important unless you aren't getting any.

4. If you think nobody cares if you're alive,
try missing a couple of car payments.

5. Before you criticize someone,
you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them,
you're a mile away, and you have their shoes.

6. If at first you don't succeed,
skydiving is not for you.

7. Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day.
Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a
boat and drink beer all day.

8. If you lend someone $20
and never see that person again, it was worth it.

9. Don't worry--
It only seems kinky the first time.

10. Good judgment comes from bad experience,
and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

11. There are two theories about arguing with women.
Neither one works.

12. Experience is something you don't get
until just after you need it.

13. Never, under any circumstances,
take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

3. Thanks, Madokie. We needed that.-----
Where abouts are you in OK? I reside in Springfield, MO. :puke: Home to all those fundies, Blunts, Ashcrofts, etc.

It looks like Jim Kreider may let himself get "drafted" to run against Roy, here. Not that Jim can win, because I think the crazies around here would still vote for Blunt if her were in jail. But maybe we can pull a miracle. I remember a time when we actually elected a Dem or two around here. That was before the Assemblies of God made their HQ here, and even more fundies swooped into town.

7. 35 miles east of Tulsa on hi way 412, a quaint little town of about 1500
yes we used to elect a few Dem's here too before gingrich hit the scene. We had some good one's too, like Carl Albert and Mike Synar. We have the best durn Governor in the whole U S, Brad Henry. Its funny how this country was founded on freedom of religion and how that same religion is going to take us down if we don't do something and fast.

Wish I still had the link to the full sized version of this photo, it is worthy of framing.

9. I am old enough to remember, with fondness, Speaker Carl Albert.
I may drive by your area a few times a year when I travel to Austin to visit one of my daughters. She teaches in Public Middle School there. I drop off Will Rogers Turnpike at Big Cabin and take highway 69. Sometimes I go thru Dallas; sometimes I go over to Paris, and back thru Corsicana. I like a change of scenery, and I just can't stand Dallas.

11. I wasn't fishing for an invite---I just meant I probably drive by
close to where you live. I usually drive straight thru---a long 12 hour drive.

Thanks anyway. I bet you cook a mean steak on the "Big Green Egg."

6. Just sent a copy of this to my semi-invalid brother. He loves stuff like
this. Thanks for posting. We all need a little chuckle some time.
