Is it too much to ask?
I’m a simple woman. I want simple things. All I ask for are some flowers on Valentines Day. Just a few simple flowers sent to me on a national holiday so my husband can show his love for me.

What woman wouldn't be delighted to come home to a bouquet of flowers waiting for her?

Well, actually, getting those flowers at work would be so much better. They should be delivered to the front desk so that the receptionist has to make an announcement over the speaker that I have a delivery. Then I can come to the front, gasp at the enormous arrangement of flowers ...Roses, long stem, in a crystal vase...swoop them up and begin the leisurely walk back to my cubicle with my prize. Naturally I’ll stop at every cubicle along the way, pretending to have some business with the occupant so I can share my glorious delivery.

Ya.

No, wait. It should really be two dozen roses. That way I could have a vase in each arm and have people open doors for me while I say, “Oh, thank you so much. I would do it myself, but, well, you can see….”

As I said, I am a simple woman. I don’t ask for much.

1. I could send you a slightly mutilated frog in the mail. Would that count?

3. You're right
A personal courier would be needed. Good thinking.

6. What I like is receiving flowers for no "reason" at all....

I hope you get all the flowers you want, suzbaby!

8. LOL!
I'll never forget the time my husband brought home five of Shakespeare's plays in paperback form, for no reason at all. He was thinking of me, and instead of stopping at the florist's (like he normally would), he stopped at the bookstore.

9. I suddenly have this fear
that this post did not come off as facetious as I had hoped. It was all in jest, I swear!
