It's red carpet time at the Grammys!

And I know this because I work about 5 blocks from the Staples Center and the noise from the helicopter and Goodyear blimp are driving me insane.

But, I have been near where a blimp is flying. Those damn things are louder than one would think.

My personal favorite was the circling news helicopters when there was a MINOR accident in the subway. Not only was it not newsworthy, it was IN THE SUBWAY! What the fuck kind of footage are you going to get from a helicopter?

though at least I know that if they're using the helicopters to film the subway opening, there is literally nothing bad happening in all of Southern California. No fires, no car chases, no homicides...and Britney remembered to put the baby in the car seat.

Edit to add that I'm rooting for Kayne West only because of the, "George Bush doesn't care about black people" comment. No matter how many times I see it, the clip of him and Mike Myers always makes me smile. :)

Kraftwerk should've won best electronic album. They are the pioneers of electronic music and Minimum Maximum is a masterpiece.

The White Stripes should NOT have won best Alternative. The Arcade Fire are much much better.

These two awards should have been in show, not before hand.

Also Common should have won best rap song and if Maria Carey wins best album, I'm gonna break something. >_<
