6. Rockingham in Richmond County did. Yippeee.
There is a big hill down the road a little from me in someone's back yard. I wonder if they would shoot me if I pranced down there with my trash can lid and played in the snow on their hill?

2. Yes I am sitting here surprised .
I was watching the local news and I noticed the delays in the bottom of the screen . There is a two hour delay for schools here . I woke up and I see white stuff in the yard . Oh great - its just ice on the road and I know that it will be off the roads by the time its time for me to go work . So oh well .

10. I discovered the snow when I was getting ready for school.
Edited on Thu Feb-09-06 08:09 AM by Jamastiene
I had a sort of different beginning to my day. I had been needing sleep desparately for the last few day. I hadn't slept more than 4 hours in 3 days for some reason. Yesterday, when I got home from school I crashed at 4:30 and didn't wake up until 4:00 this morning. I studied a little this morning and helped my aunt get in bed far too late because she didn't wake me up. I feel guilty about that, but she told me not to. Anyhoo, my clock went off and I hopped in the shower. After I got out of the shower, I looked out the frosted windows over the tub. I noticed the whitish look on the ground and said to myself, "If I didn't know better, I'd think that was snow on the ground." My cat looked at me funny and meowed and then looked out the window. I followed him. So, just when I thought it might be snow, my cat told me it was snow. He looks like he is in shock still. He has separation anxiety, so he is now happy that I am home instead of in classes.

It's snowing now here in Rockingham. Big ol' fluffy white pretty snow flakes falling heavier than a mist, but not too heavy. It's so purdy. When my hair dries, I'm layering up and heading out to stand around like an idiot in the snow in amazement. I'm worse than a little kid. I'm far too happy about this. Yippeeeee!

3. Yes, and happy about it. Yippeeee.
I started another thread about this same topic earlier. It sank like a stone. Maybe I am too happy about it. I needed the 2 hr. delay from college classes at skoo.

11. I'm just havin' fun ...
That's what I want to do for the rest of my life and it's the little things that make me happy.
It doesn't always have to be about a great adventure.

Google it with the spelling I used. Several news sources spell it that way too.

I'm just saying.

21. It's the pretty white fluffy snow. No ice no sleet, but pretty pretty
SNOW. Yippeee. I have a dilemma though and a valid reason not to want to go to my delayed class at 1:45 today. My aunt, who is quadreplegic doesn't want me to go in case the power goes out. She can't strike a match any more to light the backup kerosene heater. I would have to be here to do that for her. She'd freeze because it's still only 33 degrees here now. I'm not sure what to do.
