Remember though, ANY depiction of Mohammed is strictly verboten. The cartoons don't need to be horrible in order to be offensive.

The cartoons are not offensive in and of themselves.

I only meant to say they don't need to be tasteless in order for a reasonable person to think they're offensive. I know a lot of people are having a hard time understanding where the outrage is coming from.
