teaches her classmates how to dance and sing to "My Humps". What a proud mommy moment I'm having.

1. Lol! My seven year old keeps singing "I like big butts...."
If he catches me watching him, he get embarrassed and mad and says, "What!? Stop watching me! God!"

6. The three-year-old has decided that "bumpy butts" are fun.
"Do you have a bumpy butt? I don't have a bumpy butt."

She asked this of a waitress who, in all likelihood, based on her exceedingly unflattering pants, did indeed have a bumpy butt.

My brown cords are my "bumpy butt" pants, because they have a textured design on the pockets.

Yes, there is an accompanying song of some sort.

2. Last year, in pre-K...
They had some kid from Junior Achievement come in and talk to the class. He brought up the subject of the President, and my then 4 year old said "George Bush is an asshat!". :D

When I picked her up and the teacher told me what happened, I couldn't help but notice she was amused. ;)

4. LMAO!!
My 14-yr-old prefaces all of her introductions of me with "This is my mom... don't discuss politics with her." ;)

5. My kindergartener and your kindergartener would get along famously
I have this habit of listening to really bad pop music when I workout and my daughter got a hold of my mp3 player recently. She likes "My Humps". Fortunately she says "Ma huh" instead.

The most embarrassing though is hearing her attempt to sing "Dirrty" by Christina Aguilara. Instead of saying "To dirty to clean my act up" she sings "too dirty to clean my cat up!"

7. They really are little parrots, aren't they?
My SO's preschooler told her teacher that "Bono sings and Edge plays guitar on the Lemon Song."

Close...
