She'd be sixty-five today -- wow. I am just AMAZED at how quickly time passes.

The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time. (yep, it's a song, but I believe it)

Do you have a secret of life?

1. The joy is found in the journey, not the destination.
I think fundies are gonna be disappointed if and when they get to heaven, and they ask "is this it?" Picture St. Pete at the gates, asking them, "may I see you photos and souvineers from your trip, please?" and they show up empty-handed. Doh!

Put another way, life is not about accumulating stuff, or working towards some perceived "goal." It is about enjoying the day-to-day stuff, interacting with the people who come your way, and in sharing whatever gifts you may have with others.

The ones with the most toys does not win - they just get a cluttered playpen. :)
