More condolences

The sales associate for my health club died of complications of asthma and pneumonia over the weekend. He was 39. He had been home sick last week, went to the hospital last Wednesday, ICU on Friday, and passed on Saturday. I saw him regularily, unlike my work colleague who died over the weekend, also. I'm in the club at least 4x per week. I was shocked to see this--and I worked out on Monday! The flowers came on Tuesday, I believe.

Please hold a good thought for his family.


I think I'll hide under my desk for the rest of the day.

2. Today I attended a funeral for a 22-year-old member of our church

He was shot and killed over the weekend in a random street robbery.

Please also send good vibes and prayers to his family and friends.

6. Last week, I was at that funeral of the

marine who was killed in Iraq. It was on the front page of the Times Disgrace.

Very, very sad. He left a wife and a little boy.

Sad and senseless just don't seem to put into words the loss. I felt so badly for that young man's family.
