I had to check which books from Goethe's "Naturwissenschaftlichen Schriften" our big boss has. My boss took some to her yesterday. Another lady in another departement had some of those books, gave them back but they weren't in the stack yet. The big boss needed some of those also. It was all a bit confusing till I found out who had which books and which are back in the stack :eyes:

and she is so unorganized she is always coming in the last second and needed it already the day before. Makes you wanna scream. And she is like that with all things.

7. That reminds me of when I worked at a hotel....

...I was the night auditor who did the books, but sometimes I would come in and help during the day if they were slammed. Everybody worked their asses off, helped everbody else out, and did what we could to keep the hotel floating. The General Manager - the boss - floated around, went and played raquetball for most of the day, then floated back in and asked how things were going?

When customers would get upset, they'd always want to speak to the General Manager, and I'd think to myself, "Why, he doesn't do shit?"....:shrug:

8. The people here at work

get more and more unhappy about the situation. There is not really one person who is happy with our boss. She tries to put her ideas through which isn't a bad thing to start with. But you get the feeling she doesn't care about the people who work here. It is all about her and profiling herself in the University life but we are a museum and there is more than just profiling.

...one would hope she would have some passion in that fact. Being a history junkie, I'd love to be in a position like that. I'd relish it...

fortunatly my boss is a lot better. She is cool. Too bad she retires end of the year :cry: I am scared who our big boss might choose for that position. And no I have no chance to apply myself. They want a person who studied German on that position. And I am only a simple librarian :)
