2. Ken was gay
Their's was only a relationship of convenience as being gay a while back was not as socially acceptable in society as it is now. Ken has no use for Barbie anymore to help his career or social status and is currently shacking with G.I. Joe until they can be legally married.
Don't know what Barbie is up too. Haven't seen her or her pink corvette around lately.
