I don't drink booze, so I don't know about the "Man's gotta drink" thing. I got drunk once when I was 23. Spent the next day on the bathroom floor vomiting every few minutes. I haven't touched a drop of liquor since. "Fool me once..."

:hi:

Seems early for you today - especially as you're not working.

I'm listening to C.D. Review on Radio 3 - they review classical releases each Saturday morning, they're talking about some opera releases.

Yesterday I saw "Team America, World Police" - have you seen it? I thought it was damn hilarious.

I think it must be an English-American thing. It does seem a lot of effort first thing to mix a batter together &c.&c.

But pancake day isn't far away now, and I'll certainly be having some then.

51. Ireland and France have just kicked-off in Paris
My bet is on France...they got beaten by Scotland last week, and I think that they're out to prove themselves. Plus it's in the Stade de France and the advantage of a home-crowd can be immense.

Just as I type that, France score a try. It was right in the corner, so unsurprisingly the conversion was not in - but it's still 5 points within the first 3 minutes.

58. All you need to know is 30 tough men leaping into each other
grabbing at each other, and fighting over a ball that isn't quite round....somewhat like a gay orgy

As with most sports the basic object is very simple, get the ball beyond the opponents line for a try (5 or 7 points), or kick it between their goal posts for a drop-goal or penalty (3 points).

I've driven the Mazda 3 and it is freakin awesome! I dunno...I just need to test drive them I think also.

It's good to see you on this Saturday morning! I'm not in a BIG hurry to go car shopping or anything...it's just something I want to do soon. With it raining all day I may not. When you go to www.irs.gov, look for the "Free File" link. That will take you to a page with several companies who offer free e-filing. Click on the H&R Block link, and away you go!

57. I know...I'm a bad boy for letting it get bad.
So, I'll take my spanking without complaint. Why o why do things have to be so crazy when you're trying to close on land or a house? Every single person I've talked to whose gone through it has had some sort of problem. I just don't get it.

67. It's a necessary part of the initiation.
 My realtor down here told me we can never relax until after closing. SO ... if we actually get a contract on the house (OK, WHEN, not IF), we can "go through the motions" of finding a rental and moving all our stuff out of the house. But it can fall through at the last minute if the buyers aren't paying cash.

Yesterday, the people who looked had apparently fallen into a vat of perfume. My house was stinky for the rest of the day. I'm very sensitive to it -- makes me get a headache, nosebleed, fatigue, etc. But my neighbor was doing laundry and her scented fabric softener was blowing from her dryer vent into my yard, so outside wasn't any better. Can someone wake me up when it's all over with and my new house is built?

Makes me wonder if it's all worth it. All the hassles, I mean.

79. It will be in the end.
Sometimes we have to put up with a little (or more) pain in order to make our dreams come true. We don't want to retire in south FL, so we have to make the move sooner or later.

So I'd better get a move on and do the daily get-the-house-ready-to-show thing. I hope you have a great day! Sorry it's crappy weather and you can't look for your new car. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

 :hi:
