I can't e-file my frickenfracken tax returns!

Why? Because I can't e-sign them. Why? Because the IRS can't verify my birthdate as correct for purposes of e-signing. Why? Because the frickenfracken SSA has a one-digit error on my birthdate. Somewhere along the line, THEY made a mistake, but I will have the hassle of jumping through hoops to get it corrected.

In the meantime, I will have to mail my tax returns the old-fashioned way and wait for weeks to have the use of money that was mine to begin with.

in my case the irs could not figure out that the same name i was born w. was still my name after i got married even though prob. nine million other women either never married or kept the same name after being married

what do you do? they are idiots

for not too much money you can send your return priority mail and they get it in two days and start processing pretty fast

They were rejected because of the birthdate issue.

6. I had to send mine by snail-mail a few years ago.

Had too many taxes taken out of my disability insurance benefit. That made the e-file reject it. But I did automatic deposit and it didn't really take too long to get my refund.
