I WILL NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST. Almost at 9000.
What - Why- How should I create the 9000th? I have missed every big milestone. This could be the first I actually have a 'There' for.

Any advice?

I'm thinking of posting cats - honestly. I lost a most precious fur-baby one week ago today.

But then - a truly divisive GD post could keep me wired for hours.

Perhaps I should do what I have always done and not notice until the milestone has been passed.


If you entice me to post the latter choice will be the 'milestone'.

I would expect a lounge thread on cats to be very well received. A pet tribute thread seems like an appropriate way to celebrate whereas another flame war in GD is like coals to Newcastle.
