Sometimes I wish I had a brother...
I have often wondered what it would be like to have had a brother.. and then of course, one must wonder what it would have been like to have an older brother, or a younger brother.

Sometimes I wish I had a twin brother. But that was outlawed by UN resolution while my mother was pregnant. Seriously though, I kinda wish I had a twin brother. Or if not a twin, then I think I would prefer to have had an older brother. OR a younger brother about 15 years younger than me. I *did* ask my mom for that once, and she said "NO!"

I have a sister, but she's a girl, and it's just not the same.

1. I have two, would you care for one or both of them?
I am willing to share. You could teach them good manners and turn them into good democrats.

I am sorry you didn't have one to grow up with though.

2. I have an older sister,
who liked to be pretty mean to me when we were younger. But I do have wondered how it would have been having an older brother; not that I really miss it, though, but I think for some occasions it would have been nice.

But one of my best friends in junior high was a late baby, 15 years younger than his older brother. It wasn't this much fun.

3. I have two older brothers. I did not have much use for them when
I was younger...but they have grown up (sort of) to be pretty nice guys...and AWESOME Uncles! :hi: You can have one. The one with the lighter hair. His wife doesn't like me:

4. I always wanted an older brother too
What I got was a twin sister and younger sister. Being a twin isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when you look nothing alike!

5. When my sister got married
I hugged my new BIL in the receiving line, then turned around and yelled, "I GOT A BROTHER!"

That was more than 20 years ago, and I've still got one. :bounce:

6. Having a brother can
go either way. I have a brother who is a great help and never causes me any trouble. My husband's brothers are a pain in the a**. Always doing something stupid.

get their insurance money... or at least, somehow, have enough money to buy a battery powered whisk, a diesel-powered Jell-O molder, or a crustless preservative-filled peanut-butter and jelly sandwich.

8. I have an older brother and he's a complete asshole.
Be thankful. I had a sadistic older brother who used to delight in beating the shit out of me. When we both got older, I asked him to apologize for the way he treated me, and he said, "that's what older brothers do to younger brothers. You're lucky I didn't kill you." Total lack of any remorse.

He's a republican, by the way. Makes 80 grand a year. I work in food service, and he's never sent me a dime to help me out, even when I was working three jobs just to survive. Selfish prick.

I haven't had a real conversation with him for about five years, and I don't really care if I ever DO talk to him again.
