3. Why not?
I don't do it - I'm a hotdog & mustard purist - but I do put mayo on hamburgers.

5. If it makes you happy, go for it.
Personally it doesn't sound good to me, but I can't knock it if I haven't tried it.

14. Mayo is good on a lot of things.
But, it has to be REAL mayo, not that Miracle Whip crap.

Hellman's...Hellman's...Hellman's! :)

18. Miracle Whip = SHIT
I was raised on processed cheese, miracle whip and powdered milk. All of which are complete crap. My motto: If its not real, don't bother!!! BlueCollar now has to admit that he was wrong which is the best Valentine EVER!!!

20. Actually, this is the 2nd time TODAY!!!
He thought the "Space Bags" I bought wouldn't work either. He actually admitted that he was wrong about them. I fit 4 pillows in one bag and sucked it flat and completely re-organized the entire linen closet. :woohoo:

21. LOL!!! It's not his day is it?
But, it takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. Since that had to be hard for him, give him a kiss at least. ;)

27. mayo on hot dogs? YEP!!! YUMMY!!
and I also put brown mustard and ketchup on them. Absolutely delicious. My husband likes to dip his french fries into mayo instead of ketchup. Personally, this combination doesn't sound appetizing to me, but he loves it.

28. As a Chicagoan, I must say mustard ONLY
Only the lowest sort of heathens puts ketchup on a hot dog, much less mayo. The great Chicago columnist Mike Royko (RIP) used to write lengthy diatribes on the evils of putting ketchup on hot dogs.

29. No, good God, no! That's blasphemy just like ketchup is.
And I'm a guy who likes his Hellman's (a lot). But NOT on a hotdog.

There are certain standards which must be upheld, after all.

31. Peanut Butter and mayonnaise -
I never had it with jelly until I hit kindergarten and nearly was shunned. I think my mother was trying to kill us 4 kids off :-) (We were more like a litter - 4 in in 2 1/2 yrs).

So anyway, mayo on a hot dog sounds similar.

39. Vegonaise on Tofu Pups!! Woohoo!!
Actually, no, mayo on dogs doesn't sound so good. Chili, butter and cheddar, with some onions, that's the way. I don't understand why anyone would bother to eat a dog (veggie or offal) without chili. Must be a yankee thing.
