Hello DU. I am new to posting here and wanted to thank you all!!
I am leatherfeather and have been lurking for quite a long time. I am just recently getting political and I just Love this board.

The Lounge seems to fit me best cause as I said I am new to this all. Sometimes GD is just hateful and GD Politics is above me.(For Now).

I would send you all hearts and stars if I was able. You bring me such insightful and honest reality in this world which has gone nuts.

I cannot send either at this time but I will when I can. Till then thank you all!!! DU ROCKS!!!

5. The lounge is good stuff
It gets pretty nutty in GD. You really gotta build up some thick skin to go in there.

Hang here for a bit and lurk in GD to catch up to speed on a few things that interest you. Build some thick skin and jump into the fray when you feel like it. Things get wild, but Cheney isn't allowed in with his gun, so it's really ok ;)

:toast: I lurked for a long time before joining, as well. And you're right about GD, it gets pretty intensely polarized in there. The lounge is where I tend to hang out the most. It's fun in here and there's lots and lots of really nice people. Enjoy!
