Arthritis....
It sucks to be 35 and wake up all achy. Winter can't be over soon enough for me. Wah. Wah. Wah.

Okay, I'm over it! :hi: ouch!

1. I share your pain
I've had arthritis in my feet for many years. In summer it aches if I've been on my feet too long, but in winter it aches nearly all of the time. I have some booties that have inserts I can warm in the microwave. They're wonderful, but of course I can't wear them 24-7 so they're only good for certain circumstances. So here I am at 37 and feeling like an old person.

2. It sucks doesn't it?
I put on Jointritis and then wrap my knees in magnetic wraps...which used to work well, but I think that was all in my head. ;)

I am going to see my Rheumatologist this week...hopefully for help!

Healing, Healthy Joint vibes to you BTFS!

3. MrsGrumpy....
...My wife uses "Boswellin Cream" from India. It's a pain relieving cream that can be found in most natural health food stores in their body sections. It's for arthritis pain relief. She's 49, and sews, quilts, knits, and crochets all the time, so she is like carpel tunnel x 10. She's swears by the stuff. You may want to check it out....

Thanks Robeson!
I'll check into that. I use Jointritis and it smells horrid. I also use Tiger Balm. My flare ups usually run in conjunction with a migraine (which, thankfully, hasn't happened yet) so if I can get rid of one I'm able to function. Thanks again! :hi:

5. She works in Labor and Delivery in a major hospital here....
...where all the other nurses are also doing major heavy loading and lifting. And with all the medical remedies available to them at the hospital, they are always borrowing her cream, 'cause they say that's what helps them best...:hi:

9. Thanks billy!
I feel better now that I went and got myself out there to drive my daughter to the bus stop.

Now it's all about the youngest kid...and the massive hiccup attack. He wants to stay home...with the hiccups.

18. I can sympathize
2 hours every morn, winter or summer, before my pain lessens. Neuropathy on top of it and it's a double whammy! I tried everything the VA had to offer but VIOX was the only thing that worked for me! I take no meds for it now and am trying to find a way to get my 56 year old bod to Tucson.

19. My Grandmother has had this her whole life.
I never really understood until I got this thing where I had no magnesium and potassium left in my body and got whole body cramp and hurt everywhere and could hardly move. I looked like my Nana does when she does things.
It gave me a new admiration and respect for her. She never lets it stop her doing anything! She still drives at 80something with fused neck and ankles (somehow she keeps passing her test as her independence is worth so much to her). She is a magnificent host. Great cook. Perfect house. Always supports and loves her Grandkids, kids, kids-in-law, friends etc etc etc. She has done all of this is chronic pain, I can't imagine the strength it must take her some days, just to get out of bed, but she always does.
My Granddad helps her a lot and deserves a medal too.
I hope you feel better today and that this horrible illness does not stop you having a completely fulfilling and wonderful life!

31. Lady, I hear you
I had back surgery a month and a half ago; it's not healing as quickly as it should and I'm in pain every day. It's amazing how the body can degenerate in just one short year, isn't it? :-(
