6. How's life in snowy Philly?
I watched some coverage of the storm. I saw how messy it is back there. Soooo... I won't tell ya that it was 80 at my house yesterday and I spent a nice afternoon on the patio. Nope, I just won't tell ya that. LOL

7. That's OK - my friend in Goodyear got me the AZ weather report
You're both sadistic.

I was on my porch too, but I was using all the snow out there to chill the wine and cooling the soup to get the fat off the top.

Yesterday was a wonderful, relaxing, no-pressure day. COULDN'T go out, so no run-run-run, and didn't spend one cent. The clerk at our Friend's Meeting often encourages us to honor the Lord's Day and strike a blow against rampant consumerism by spending time with our families and not shopping on Sunday, but I find it very difficult, since the weekends are the easiest time for me. It was a lot easier to do yesterday with 18" of heavy snow outside the door!!!

Enjoy your nice weather.

Hey, had any rain lately?????

8. LOL.
Dry as a bone here! Long range forecast looks just as dry!

I have to say that the storm you just lived through brought back memories of snowy days. We used to bake something tasty and play board games to while away the time.
Do you have a heated snow shovel to help remove the snow??? ;-)

13. I made meatballs
with gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, and turnip.

Oh yeah, and chocolate chip cookies.

Cooking/baking is the best blizzard activity (well, the best activity you do dressed).

16. Mmmm.....meatballs
Red gravy or meat gravy?

(I don't actually call tomato sauce "gravy", but people in South Philadelphia do!)

21. Mushrooms make everything better.
Put some in my otherwise conventional chicken soup last night, and it gave it a little something extra!

10. Yes! That does sound good.
It's 9:40am here, so I haven't thought too hard about lunch yet. The kids and I have to grocery shop after I pick up my daughter from kindergarten, so we might grab something while we're out.
